flywithafreebird asked: I had to stop dancing once I got done with highschool and off to college. But before that I had danced for eight years. I was never in company or competitions or anything like that, I could never get my spins right or get my leaps high up but it was the passion and adrenaline rush that I loved so much. I miss it a lot and its been about four years. But Zumba is the closest thing so far.

lu-fu-yes asked: I'm 15, I do ballet and contemporary dance and I've been dancing for only a couple of years. I really want to be a performer but I fear that my dream is just too out of reach. I'm extremely unflexible, my technique is awful, my studio has closed down and other studios are quite expensive. I'm doing GCSE Dance and I wanted to do A Level Dance and Drama to make up for having no...

Anonymous asked: I want to go to college for dance; it's my life, my passion. But I'm afraid I won't be able to find work, and I won't be good enough.

Anonymous asked: I am not a competitive dancer, because my studio does not believe in competing. I want to dance because I love dance, not because I want to win. But I'm not a flexible dancer, which I want to become. If I don't dance at a competitive level, can I still become as good as the competitive dancers?

logicgirl asked: I also want to say (my last post got cut off....haha) that it's never 'too late' to be a good dancer. I am already 19 and everyone my age is leagues ahead of me, that doesnt stop me from seeing myself as a dancer, or from thinking I won't be just as good in time. :)

logicgirl asked: I just want to comment on the question by dare-to-dance. I haven't danced seriously all my life, but I really started picking it up this year. I started dancing twice a week, and when I started going to class that I attend now, I was the worst dancer. I couldnt pick up any of the moves and often thought of quitting, However, I kept going, and every day, I see my skill improving. I know Im not...

dare-to-dance asked: I'm 16 and I quit dance when i was 8, i restarted at 13, I really suck, i can't even consider myself as a true "dancer" I've never had a solo, never been in a competition, I only preform at our schools show and I'm always in the back. I feel like by the time I actually become good it's gonna be too late. All my friends say i'm great but they don't...

brandoncun34 asked: This dance thing is kind of biased and too me weak lol. People dance in the streets, garages, anywhere lol not just the studio. That's how we bboys do it or "breakdancers" media term.

Anonymous asked: for the asker about the costume: maybe you could try to figure out a "theme" for your outfit? :) for example if your choreography is sad, you could try wearing blue colours. or you could wear mostly neutral colours and then have same bright-coloured details in your shirt and shoes( in case you are wearing shoes!)

thefeliciaset-deactivated201209 asked: for the question about the costume: think about the type of dance you're doing. i'm doing a tap solo this year to a real edgy song so i'm dressing more street. you have to think about what goes with the style and song. i'd suggest just searching discount dance or dance wear solutions those are two places i get a lot of my costumes when i have to order on my own instead of...

youll-dance-to-anything asked: I'm doing a solo for our dance show at the end of the school year and I have no idea how to choose a costume. I know t needs to fit the mood of the music and look good with the choreography and all but I have no idea where to start. Any help you can give me would be absolutely lovely.
